UPDATE: PLANES OF FAME’S P-38 ‘23 SKIDOO’ IS UNDERGOING MAINTENANCE.
ALLIED FIGHTERS P-38 LIGHTNING ‘HONEY BUNNY’ WILL BE ON DISPLAY. 
THE PLANES OF FAME P-40 WARHAWK IS SCHEDULED TO FLY AT 12pm!

EVENT: LIVING HISTORY FLYING DAY
SATURDAY, APRIL 6th  ~ 10am
A speaker panel of aviation experts and historians is featured followed by a question & answer period. The Allied Fighters P-38 Lightning ‘Honey Bunny’ will be on display and our P-40 Warhawk is scheduled to perform a flight demonstration at 12pm.
Hear the story of one of America’s most celebrated Fighter Groups the 475th. An all P-38 equipped lethal force that played a significant role in the Pacific South West Area as the Japanese attempted to control the island chains from the Philippines down to Australia.
Three 475th Foundation board members will share key historical highlights including Charles Lindbergh’s time with the unit. Craig Taggart whos grandfather, Thomas Vincent Elliot earned 7 victories and David Madison whos grandfather Harold Pete Madison co-founded the 475th Fighter Group Foundation.
Foundation President, Brad Ball will cover the group’s amazing record and contribution to victory over Japan.
Moderator and Historian Kevin Thompson will provide an overview of the P-38 Lightning.
 
At 12:00 noon, the Raffle Flight will occur. Become a member to enter the Raffle. All members are eligible to enter but you must be present to win.  READ MORE…
