Reid-Hillview Seeks Pilots for Airport Day

We are in need of pilots for the Experimental Aircraft Association EAA-62’s Young Eagle’s rally at San Jose California’s Reid Hillview RHV Airport Open House on Saturday, June 23.

Are you an EAA-member pilot who can fly with us any time from 10am-2pm? Do you know pilots who could fly? Even one flight would help….

The Young Eagle’s flights coincide with Reid Hillview Airport Association’s RHVAA’s Airport Day. The open house runs from 8am-4pm.

San Jose EAA62 Young Eagle’s coordinator Russ Todd reports that only a handful pilots have signed up to fly 200 kids expected to show up for Young Eagle’s flights. Eek, we’re in trouble if we can’t find more pilots!

So if you can fly kids on Young Eagle’s flights on June 23, please let me know, or contact Russ Todd at russt1@sbcglobal.net and give him the good news.

The San Jose California Reid Hillview Airport open house is always a kick anyway, with tons of awesome historic aircraft and warbirds, entertainment, lots of aviation-related exhibits, an RC aircraft show, flyovers, and even free food for Young Eagle’s pilots.
